Bio

My name is Matt Mickey and I have been working in the fitness industry as a personal trainer for over 10 years. My journey started with my father teaching me to lift weights out back of my home in Pennsylvania, and has led me to coaching all ages and fitness levels in California. I went to school for
Exercise Science and Nutrition, and have a deep passion for movement and service. My primary intention with writing is to share my experience and knowledge in order to help as many people to improve their lives through physical fitness, and to shed light into what is possible in these areas.

  • Bachelor’s in Exercise Science Minor in Nutrition from West Chester University of Pennsylvania 11’
  • Certified Personal Trainer (CPT) – American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM)
